Candy
Passed: age of 14 years Candy's mom, Rose, says: Candy was a beautiful Border Collie that was diagnosed at 8 years old with Cushings, caused I believe by vaccines and inappropriate diet. She died aged 14 but suffered a great deal getting to that age, including a smashed leg just from running into a small sapling, fainting spells and weakness of the back legs and face. She was a wonderful Obedience dog who had just qualified to work Championship classes but was never to realise her early potential. |
